PROF. JOO-WON PARK
In 2004, I completed my M.D. in School of Medicine at Ewha Womans University in South Korea, and worked as a medical doctor in Ewha Womans Univesirty Hospital for 1 year. In 2009, I completed my Ph.D in Biochemistry at Ewha Womans University, and studied about inherited metabolic diseases. Upon earning my degree, I continued my training and research about cardiovascular diseases at the National Institute of Heath as a senior researcher for 1 year. Thereafter, I joined Weizmann Institute of Science as a postdoctoral fellow from 2010 to 2012 in the Department of Biochemistry, and did research about sphingolipids. Since 2012, I have been working on my independent research as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at Ewha Womans University School of Medicine.
